Experience the 'Taste of Time' at Raynue in Gaysorn Amarin. It's a new auditory social lounge in the heart of Ratchaprasong, Bangkok. The decoration is inspired by the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, where you can savor shifting cuisine every moment of the day, accompanied by high-quality sound from Void Acoustics throughout the venue.

The main challenges on the design process for AVS team were to avoid clashing with the intricate decoration yet making sure enough speakers were deployed to cover the extensive area of the venue. A 10m height ceiling with different heights areas, balconies and decor elements made the speaker layout and deployment even more challenging. With the help of computer simulation software, the team was able to design the best solution without compromising the interior design. 

The venue operates since early morning till late night: from delicious specialty coffee preparations to vibrant cocktails with a terrace view to the buzzing Sukhumvit Street. This also accounts for the kind of musical program offered: from curated selection of tunes for background / foreground levels to live music performances.

To cater those changes, AVS team decided to deploy an Allen & Heath CQ mixer and an AHM. The CQ is used by the musicians and it helps to provide a very quick and easy way to get their channels set up thanks to the revolutionary quick channel setting feature. The AHM provides the possibility to select amongst the playback music player, the live CQ mixer or the DJ inlet provided on stage. The AHM has been programmed to provide different settings for the sound system throughout the day, by changing volumes or EQ depending of the time.
