Rim Bangkok originated from the famous Rimshot Bar before relocating to Ascott Embassy Sathorn Bangkok, where it now operates under its new name. The interior is luxuriously decorated, featuring signature cocktails and an open-format music selection that emphasizes Hip-Hop and R&B.

Due to its popularity, Rim Bangkok attracts a lively crowd every Saturday and Sunday. To accommodate this high volume of patrons, the Aura Visual System team designed a sound system capable of handling diverse musical styles while providing sufficient coverage. The venue includes a cocktail bar zone, a front of a DJ booth where people can dance, a separate seating area, and a second-floor bar with relatively private seating.

For the main PA, we chose Void Acoustics Air Motion speakers, which come in a custom color of striking matte gold color. The subwoofers are Stasys Xair, while Airten speakers in white cover the remaining areas. The DJ monitor section features Air 8 speakers, and on the second floor, we installed Cyclone 8 units to ensure that customers can enjoy clear sound throughout the space; all speakers are powered by Bias amplifiers.

The DJ booth is equipped with two sets of turntables for alternating use, so the AVS team opted for the Allen & Heath AHM16 Processor along with the CC7 control screen. This setup allows for smooth and seamless DJ transitions, creating a cohesive experience between the DJs and the guests. Additionally, Bluesound Professional B100S is used to play music and maintain the atmosphere during periods without a live DJ.
