Aura Visual System is proud to present another venue located in the heart of Bangkok: SoCal, a California-style restaurant situated within the InterContinental Bangkok Hotel. This project is supported by our partner Never2Late (AV & Music Solutions).

The location, nestled in the lobby of a high-end hotel, posed a design challenge. We needed to create a high-energy sound system with extended bass while adhering to sound pressure level constraints.

To achieve this, we utilized the elegant Void Acoustics Cyclone 4 speakers in conjunction with the Venu208 subwoofer. Both were ceiling-mounted to ensure even sound coverage throughout the venue without distracting from the stylish decor.

Additionally, SoCal features an outdoor balcony area, making the weather-protected Cyclone Series, which has an IP-55 rating, an ideal choice for installation in that space.

While the SoCal typically plays background music, it also hosts parties with live DJs. For this reason, we selected the AHM16 for processing and main system control. This setup allows for an easy selection of background music inputs from the Bluesound Professional network music player and DJ mixers via the CC7 touchscreen.
